UPDATE

BlueSun expresses condolences to those who have suffered property loss in the enclave formerly known as Destiny. An extensive search and rescue of the area has revealed that almost everyone did heed the warning and get out in time to avoid being caught in the impact or subsequent fire and collapse of the area.

Sadly, the one exception was the replicant Krenshar Magic. According to his best friend, LilyBell Snoodle, says "Krenshar is hiding wif Miss Aldea". While there were reports that he "might have made it out", and while no remains of Mr. Krenshar were found, due to the nature of the incident, we believe he was lost in the impac and subsequent inferno.

All operations in and out of the enclave have been discontinued pending a further analysis of the environment. Travel in and out of the area is permitted but caution is advised due to flash fires, ground collapsing and possible environmental hazards.

All persons planning to venture into the area would be well advised to file a travel plan with Hale's Moon authorities so someone knows they have gone into the area.

There is one remaining outpost, staffed by Hale's Moon residents with experience in hostile environments. The outpost can provide food and temporary shelter. However, outpost minders are there at their own risk and are not obligated to help you.

They have agreed to stay and monitor the area and do have a link to the main Hale's Moon comms. Due to the instability fo the link, you should not assume that reaching the outpost will necessarily enable you to communicate with the folks back home.

The outpost minders have already reported the apparent rapid growth of plantlife, which seems to die almost immediately. The plants appear to go through their life cycle in less than a day, leaving behind dead or dying material that has yet to be identified.

Temporary Access Requirements

All access to the BlueSun facility in Destiny requires an escort until further notice. Deliveries should be made to the main dock on Hale's moon, and checked in at the BlueSun cargo desk in the main terminal building. All employees who are currently within the Destiny compound will receive compensation for the time away from their families. Please rest assured there is nothing to be concerned about. This restriction is simply an added precaution to assure the safety of those living in and around Destiny, and on Hale's Moon in the main town.

Patents filed

Four new patents were filed this month with the patent office on behalf of BlueSun. The first was related to a technological process that transforms the substance "spice" into a more potent version of its own self. The process claims to use nanites as part of a process to create a super drug, that is effective on both humans and electronic parts, or Replicants. The second and third patents have to do with self-heating and self-cooling packaging for a new line of BlueSun drinks. The fourth patent deals with encryption, more specifically, decryption, and was jointly developed with BlueSun's Research Office and private researchers.

These patents add to BlueSun's portfolio and increase their domination in world markets. According to company spokespersons, no price increases are planned in the near future.

Expansion

Rumours of BlueSun's Corporate expansion into new areas - both in terms of product, and in terms of location, are true. Further information will be made available to the press and investors over the next few weeks.

For now, when questioned about the possibilty the corporation was again investing in pharmaceuticals, BlueSun CEO x0x0 Zhangsun had only this to say. "We have not done well with pharmaceuticals in the past. Poor planning. Bad communication. "

Stock Price Drop Not Unexpected

Recent problems on Hale's Moon have led to some drops in stock prices, based on speculation that the Corporation may be relocating.

According to CEO x0x0 Zhangsun "This sort of thing happens, and its not really anything to worry about. By nature our stock tends to be somewhat volatile in the hands of those stockholders who do not understand the nature of our Business. We aren't relocating, in fact, we are hiring more workers. Our productivity is up 28 per cent. A new product line is scheduled for introduction in three weeks, and we are confident it will be a success".

Operations at the Corporate Headquarters are running as usual.

CLEAN UP

BlueSun volunteers spent the past weekend cleaning up the aftermath of the recent fires on Hale's Moon, while providing local residents with clean water, and emergency rations.

"We are committed to helping the community" stated a BlueSun spokesperson. "We hope things don't escalate, but if they do, we'll be standing by to help with food, clean water, and emergency housing".

New Positions Created

BlueSun Corporation has resumed production of the Like a Flower robot series following a brief interruption in production due to electrical problems at the lab in the old production facility. According to the company, there were a series of small fires due to mismatched circuitry, and that problem has been addressed.

"We decided that simply razing the building was the best solution. We are putting in a new lab, one which I will directly oversee, and it will be housed directly in our HQ in Destiny. Destiny, with its overabundant Replicant population is the perfect place, as it will provide jobs for the Replicants, and a labour force for us", stated BlueSun Corporation Acting CEO x0x0 Zhangsun. "The production will take place at various locations throughout the 'Verse", she stated "to allow all sectors of the community an equal opportunity to take part in this exciting application of scientific research to real life application".

Zhangsun, Granddaughter of BlueSun Corporation co-founder The Honourable Li Shimin, reaffirmed the Corporation's committment to the citizens of Hale's Moon during the recent Hale's Moon Fair when the Aeon Voom Park and Monument were unveiled. "Captain Voom is forever a part of this Moon, whether he is here or out roaming about the 'Verse. This park is dedicated to him, in the hopes that Hale's children see the monument and ask their parents about the man whose face watches over this little bit of green".

Questioned about the rumours of a romantic relationship between Zhangsun and Voom, Ms. Zhangsun, known for her straightforward approach to journalists, replied "I think I would know if that were the case, and it isn't. Cap' n Voom's a charmer to be sure, but not one I'd be stayin' home waitin' for. But then there ain't really many I would....." . Sources confirm Ms. Zhangsun continues to live alone in the penthouse at Gregory House, Hale's Moon's luxury hi-rise apartment building.

In a follow-on story, BlueSun Special Projects chief geneticist Mindo Lupindo was seen arriving at the Hale's Moon Welcome Center, accompanied by two assistants. Lupindo was unwilling to answer any questions, and he was whisked away by armed BlueSun security personnel immediately upon arrival. Speculation regarding Lupindo's return to work after his period of involuntary incarceration in a private facility continues to run rampant. According to one BlueSun Special Projects employee who wished to remain nameless "That son of a bitch always shows up when we get a new project, and it usually isn't anything we can talk about. I haven't seen any new equipment or durable goods come through. but that could happen when I'm not around. No one mentioned any new projects, so I really don't know what he's doing here. Hope that sister of his keeps a close reign on him, he ain't exactly right if you know what I mean".

Factory Opening

BlueSun is pleased to make applications to prospective employees available at the new BlueSun Special Projects Factory. While the majority of high level positions have been filled, there still exist a need for security guards (on call) and caterers. Due to the nature of the work, the security guard position applicants will undergo multiple testing phases prior to becoming a verified employee.

Please inquire of Miss Berry, the first in the new synthetic custom made AI line offered by BlueSun, if you are interested. Deemed the "Like a Flower" line, these synthetic AIs are designed to meet your specifications in terms of appearance. The AI memory is flashed using a series of proprietary technologies and the AI will be whoever you want it to be based upon preferences.

Addressing the concerns of ethicists and religious leaders, BlueSun has made it their policy to not create any bots for the purposes of sexual activity. "Such things may take place, but we don't want to know about it if they do", stated Miss Berry, BlueSun's newest spokesperson, shown here with a number of visitors to the new facility.

Blue Sun Update

Inquiries related to BlueSun Special Projects should continue to be relayed to Ms. Zhangsun in the Corporate Headquarters, via either of the capable office staff, Emma Ditko or Lucy Applemoor.

While Ms. Zhangsun's office is always open, and she is happy to see visitors by appointment, due to extensive travel she will not necessarily be able to meet with visitors who arrive without an appointment.

If you do not have an appointment, you risk arrest and possible incarceration for trespassing. Please do not attempt to enter the BlueSun Office areas without an escort.

The beer was manufactured for a special event and is labelled with the name of the birthday boy. Unfortunately, the name was incorrectly spelled, so this "Roger Smif" beer is available for your enjoyment.

The fruity oaty bars are original BlueSun issue, however, they were incorrectly packaged. Thus, these wonderful bars bear the insignia of the Companion Training Center of the Western Geishas. Perhaps they were repackaged, we aren't sure, but they are definitely authentic bars.

The Gun Cabinet was once part of an Alliance vessel that was taken apart for parts. It will hold seven large guns, and the lock is biometric.

The robotic parts were left in one of our properties by an unsuccessful startup business. The owner disappeared after meeting with members of Weyland Yutani. These fine parts, consisting of legs, arms, and some holographic chambers (small) are certified, however, they are sold "as is".

Miss Snoodle was last seen in the company of Cody Winterwolf on Hale's Moon in the middle of December. He is not currently a suspect in her disappearance.

BlueSun is pleased to welcome Small Shiny Things to Hale's Moon. The shop, co-owned by LilyBell Snoodle and Cody Winterwolf, currently is offering free gift wrapping for any Christmas present you bring in.

There is a wide selection of paper, glitter, ribbons, and bows.

Beginning mid-January, the store will close briefly as it is stocked with new merchandise. We look forward to seeing what fine items will be offered. So far, we have been told only that things for sale will be small and shiny "just like some fish".

Blue Sun would like to thank everyone who has come out and walked the Christmas Walk. It will run through January 10th, and new gifts are added from time to time.

Several marriage proposals were made at the Snowflake Lane Gazebo, and we look forward to incorporating more citizens into our BlueSun family.

As we look forward to the new year, we have a committment to the citizen's of Hale's Moon.

This past year saw the opening of the public pool, basketball court and dog park.

In the coming year, more jobs will come to the area with the opening of a modern facility in the BlueSun Corporate Park.

Additionally, the Railway System is well under way, and we anticipate it will not be too long before we are having transportation from West Town all the way to the Replicant Compound with stops for FireFly's Bar, Hale's Moon Main Street. While the line is primarily designed for trade and transport, some passenger services will be available.

Currently, transportation by horseback is available from outside Fooks Bar to the Firefly's/Boarding House area, and from WestTown to Fooks.

Update on Christmas Walk

The Christmas Walk, which starts at the BlueSun Corporate Park gates welcomed many citizens on its opening day. The Replicant Drones report no incidents, and continue to be available to guide visitors through the walk. Please just touch them to activate their communication systems. Midnight or sunset is the best time to visit.

Due to the number of people wishing to attend, and the number of gifts being given out, anyone wishing to visit needs a pass.

You may buy a pass for 1 Linden, which will admit you for the Walk.

If you do not have 1 Linden, please contact a member of BlueSun staff and we will provide you with complimentary entry.

CHRISTMAS WALK - OPENING TODAY!

All citizens of the 'Verse are invited to walk through the BlueSun Corporate Grounds, and enjoy the Christmas Walk put on by BlueSun employees.

The Christmas Walk is an extravaganza you won't want to miss.

The Walk begins at the Gates of BlueSun, and goes throughout the property, culminating in a visit to Santa's Workshop.

Along the way, take time to enjoy the romantic pavillion by following "Snowflake Lane" to the scenic overlook. Or, spend some time in front of BlueSun Headquarters, where you can enjoy refreshments.

The path along "Toytown" is full of exciting new displays, and the ice rink has been specially decorated just for the Christmas Walk. Free skates available, as well as hot cocoa. Have a snowball fight. Snow has been created using shaved ice and the balls are by the toy soldiers.

Wander around, or rest under the Smiling Santa archway and watch the skaters.

Stop and rest, have some BlueSun Cocoa, and continue on, following the candlelit path to "Nativity", our display located appropriately in the BlueSun Stables.

Next, prepare for a visit to Santa's Workshop, where you may find him working - or he may be at one of our other facilities. Inside the workshop are gifts for you and your family.

The playground, dog park, pool and spa are open. However due to recent issues with crime, we ask that no children be left unattended. These areas are not part of the Christmas Walk.

Transportation to the Gates of BlueSun is provided inside Santa's Workshop.

The Walk runs now through January 15th, and is provided free of charge.

Horse Found

Miss Jai Raghilda has received a reward for the safe return of Rosella, Ms. Zhangsun's prize foal. The foal was found unharmed, wandering in the new colony of Destiny.

Some reports have indicated that the horse was actually flown in by a Mister Niska, and left outside the gates of BlueSun. These reports are unconfirmed.

As promised, no questions asked.

Construction

Construction is well under way at the BlueSun Compound on Hale's Moon.

The private enclave will offer the visiting executive, holiday maker, or celebrity seeking to learn more about life on the rim the chance to do so while still maintaining the lifestyle to which they are accustomed.

These individual three story homes feature real imported wood floors, spiral staircases, expansive windows, patios and balconies with superb views, private entrances, and 24/7 security.

In addition to the luxurious surroundings, each home has a special feature, such as private splash pool, pond, helipad, underground storage area.

The community has a private pool for residents only, with a diving board, swimming lanes, and recreational water equipment.

Residents also have access to the riding stable, with free horseback riding. Lessons are available.

The homes themselves, the pool, and ponds are completed and work has commenced on the landscaping and special feature. If you are interested in applying to live in this exclusive community, please contact x0x0 Zhangsun or Emma Ditko.

Rentals start at 2500 a month, first and last month rent, and security deposit required. If you require the services of a decorator, we can put you in touch with one. 100 prims allowed, with at least 2/3 on rezzers. Currently, kitchen and bathroom areas are scheduled for "texturing" to help with prim counts.

We have decided to release our previously BlueSun Employee Newsletter to the public, beginning with this issue.

BlueSun, a proud sponsor of Hale's Moon Parks and Recreation Committee, is pleased to announce the opening of the playground and dog park on Hale's Moon. According to an unnamed spokesperson "The park is open, even though we are still waiting for delivery of a few items for the community's children. We hope children and adults will make use of the playground equipment, and games such as tag and whirl".

The dog park is fully fenced and allows residents to play with their pets, and socialize, in the safety of an enclosed area. Admission is free, and the areas are both open to the public.
