Temporary Access Requirements

All access to the BlueSun facility in Destiny requires an escort until further notice. Deliveries should be made to the main dock on Hale's moon, and checked in at the BlueSun cargo desk in the main terminal building. All employees who are currently within the Destiny compound will receive compensation for the time away from their families. Please rest assured there is nothing to be concerned about. This restriction is simply an added precaution to assure the safety of those living in and around Destiny, and on Hale's Moon in the main town.

Patents filed

Four new patents were filed this month with the patent office on behalf of BlueSun. The first was related to a technological process that transforms the substance "spice" into a more potent version of its own self. The process claims to use nanites as part of a process to create a super drug, that is effective on both humans and electronic parts, or Replicants. The second and third patents have to do with self-heating and self-cooling packaging for a new line of BlueSun drinks. The fourth patent deals with encryption, more specifically, decryption, and was jointly developed with BlueSun's Research Office and private researchers.

These patents add to BlueSun's portfolio and increase their domination in world markets. According to company spokespersons, no price increases are planned in the near future.

Expansion

Rumours of BlueSun's Corporate expansion into new areas - both in terms of product, and in terms of location, are true. Further information will be made available to the press and investors over the next few weeks.

For now, when questioned about the possibilty the corporation was again investing in pharmaceuticals, BlueSun CEO x0x0 Zhangsun had only this to say. "We have not done well with pharmaceuticals in the past. Poor planning. Bad communication. "

Stock Price Drop Not Unexpected

Recent problems on Hale's Moon have led to some drops in stock prices, based on speculation that the Corporation may be relocating.

According to CEO x0x0 Zhangsun "This sort of thing happens, and its not really anything to worry about. By nature our stock tends to be somewhat volatile in the hands of those stockholders who do not understand the nature of our Business. We aren't relocating, in fact, we are hiring more workers. Our productivity is up 28 per cent. A new product line is scheduled for introduction in three weeks, and we are confident it will be a success".

Operations at the Corporate Headquarters are running as usual.

CLEAN UP

BlueSun volunteers spent the past weekend cleaning up the aftermath of the recent fires on Hale's Moon, while providing local residents with clean water, and emergency rations.

"We are committed to helping the community" stated a BlueSun spokesperson. "We hope things don't escalate, but if they do, we'll be standing by to help with food, clean water, and emergency housing".

New Positions Created

BlueSun Corporation has resumed production of the Like a Flower robot series following a brief interruption in production due to electrical problems at the lab in the old production facility. According to the company, there were a series of small fires due to mismatched circuitry, and that problem has been addressed.

"We decided that simply razing the building was the best solution. We are putting in a new lab, one which I will directly oversee, and it will be housed directly in our HQ in Destiny. Destiny, with its overabundant Replicant population is the perfect place, as it will provide jobs for the Replicants, and a labour force for us", stated BlueSun Corporation Acting CEO x0x0 Zhangsun. "The production will take place at various locations throughout the 'Verse", she stated "to allow all sectors of the community an equal opportunity to take part in this exciting application of scientific research to real life application".

Zhangsun, Granddaughter of BlueSun Corporation co-founder The Honourable Li Shimin, reaffirmed the Corporation's committment to the citizens of Hale's Moon during the recent Hale's Moon Fair when the Aeon Voom Park and Monument were unveiled. "Captain Voom is forever a part of this Moon, whether he is here or out roaming about the 'Verse. This park is dedicated to him, in the hopes that Hale's children see the monument and ask their parents about the man whose face watches over this little bit of green".

Questioned about the rumours of a romantic relationship between Zhangsun and Voom, Ms. Zhangsun, known for her straightforward approach to journalists, replied "I think I would know if that were the case, and it isn't. Cap' n Voom's a charmer to be sure, but not one I'd be stayin' home waitin' for. But then there ain't really many I would....." . Sources confirm Ms. Zhangsun continues to live alone in the penthouse at Gregory House, Hale's Moon's luxury hi-rise apartment building.

In a follow-on story, BlueSun Special Projects chief geneticist Mindo Lupindo was seen arriving at the Hale's Moon Welcome Center, accompanied by two assistants. Lupindo was unwilling to answer any questions, and he was whisked away by armed BlueSun security personnel immediately upon arrival. Speculation regarding Lupindo's return to work after his period of involuntary incarceration in a private facility continues to run rampant. According to one BlueSun Special Projects employee who wished to remain nameless "That son of a bitch always shows up when we get a new project, and it usually isn't anything we can talk about. I haven't seen any new equipment or durable goods come through. but that could happen when I'm not around. No one mentioned any new projects, so I really don't know what he's doing here. Hope that sister of his keeps a close reign on him, he ain't exactly right if you know what I mean".

BlueSun spokespersons were unable to comment further.

Factory Opening

BlueSun is pleased to make applications to prospective employees available at the new BlueSun Special Projects Factory. While the majority of high level positions have been filled, there still exist a need for security guards (on call) and caterers. Due to the nature of the work, the security guard position applicants will undergo multiple testing phases prior to becoming a verified employee.

Blue Sun Update

Inquiries related to BlueSun Special Projects should continue to be relayed to Ms. Zhangsun in the Corporate Headquarters, via either of the capable office staff, Emma Ditko or Lucy Applemoor.

While Ms. Zhangsun's office is always open, and she is happy to see visitors by appointment, due to extensive travel she will not necessarily be able to meet with visitors who arrive without an appointment.
